Cancellation of a reservation results in the total loss of the amount paid.

To avoid losing the money from your reservation, we suggest attempting rescheduling. However, any rescheduling or changes must be requested up to one month before the stay, subject to availability confirmation and price adjustments. Changes requested less than one month in advance may be denied.

No, unlike with other platforms, when booking directly with us, the tourist tax will be included in the reservation payment.

There will be no need to make an additional payment on-site. This measure aims to provide greater transparency and convenience during your stay.

BRUVAL ECO RETREAT

The Eco Retreat consists of 4 accommodations, each with its own private area to which guests from other accommodations do not have access. However, unless you reserve all accommodations, it is possible to encounter other guests in the common areas.

All accommodations feature a private jacuzzi, integrated into their respective private areas.

The pool at the Jacuzzi & Pool House is exclusively for the guests who have booked it. However, guests staying in the other accommodations can enjoy the pool in the common area shared by the entire property.

No, the pool is not covered and is closed during the colder months (October to May). However, you can enjoy the heated hot tub in the accommodation you book year round. These bathtubs have covers, except for the Jacuzzi & Pool House.

Yes, your pets are very welcome in our space!

We only ask that you inform us in advance about their stay and be aware that it is subject to an additional daily fee per animal.

We are focused on ensuring a pleasant stay for both you and your pets, but please consider that their presence in the space requires respect for private and common areas and proper cleaning.

Although we are happy for your stay with us, we would like to remind you that Eco Retreat is a Pet Friendly space and therefore, in addition to our own animals, guests can also bring theirs, with free access to all common areas. For that reason, we recommend that you consider staying in one of our apartments, where pets are not allowed.

Check-out should be done at the specified time so we can prepare the space for the next guests. If you need to leave later, please let us know in advance.

Please note that late check-out is charged per hour, and after a delay of more than 4 hours, an extra night will be charged. This helps us ensure everything is ready for the next guests.

At Bruval Premium Apartments, we offer self check-in.

After making your reservation, you will receive detailed information about the check-in process. Upon arrival, the necessary access codes will be sent to you.

Even from a distance, we are always available to answer your questions and assist with anything you may need.

The access codes will be sent at the check-in time specified in your reservation, if you have completed the instructions sent with the check-in steps.

Please remember to complete the process by 11:59 PM on the day of your arrival. If you fail to do so by this time, it will be considered a no-show, and we cannot guarantee the sending of the codes or a refund. We recommend finalizing this process before arriving at the location to ensure a smooth and uncomplicated entry.

For security reasons and to ensure the integrity of your belongings during cleaning, it’s not possible to leave items in the apartment before check-in.

However, we suggest two convenient options for temporarily storing your belongings. You can leave them at the store next to the Bruval Premium Apartments Porto or in the lockers at São Bento station. Just keep in mind that both options may have associated costs, and neither is managed by Bruval.

Due to being a historical building, the installation of elevators is not permitted. Access to the upper floors is through a charming spiral staircase.

We recommend that visitors with reduced mobility consider booking accommodations on the first floor for greater convenience.

CARAVAN WITH YOU

Yes, reservations for our caravan must be made exclusively through Yescapa. This measure is necessary due to our insurance process, which is integrated into Yescapa’s booking system. By using the platform, we ensure that all aspects related to insurance, rental terms, and payment procedures are handled securely and efficiently. This ensures a smooth and protected experience for both parties, for us and for you.

We offer 3 different mileage packages: 100km/day, 200km/day, and unlimited mileage, with prices varying depending on the package you choose.

The mileage packages correspond to the total number of kilometers included during the rental period. Consider the following example for a 3-day rental:

  • The 100km/day package is the base option, which does not imply an additional cost. For a full 3-day rental, this package allows for a total of 300 km (round trip);
  • The 200km/day package has an additional cost. For 3 days, this option allows for a total of 600 km (round trip);
  • The unlimited mileage package has an additional cost and allows you to drive as many kilometers as you wish.

Of course, you can drive more kilometers in a day, as long as you respect the total limit of the chosen mileage package.

If you exceed the chosen mileage package, additional kilometers will be charged based on the current extra kilometer rate (information available in the listing and rental agreement).

In the event of a fine, it is your responsibility as the driver of the vehicle to settle the respective payment amounts.

All infractions that occur during the rental period are your responsibility. Therefore, penalties such as point deductions will be attributed to you.

We advise you to inform us of any fines received upon your return and to provide the necessary information (license number, date, and location of issuance of the driver’s license and identification document) so that you can contest the fine if necessary.

 

Please be aware that:
All matters will be treated with due seriousness and in accordance with current legislation. Therefore, in such a situation, we will communicate all the data you provided for the rental to the relevant authorities, and in addition to the fine, administrative fees may be charged for processing this data.

Via Verde/SCUTS and other circulation taxes are not included in the rental price, and you are responsible for paying them.

If there are amounts to be regularized, these will be deducted from the security deposit.

In order to make your trip more comfortable and avoid possible fines, we recommend that you choose to use the Via Verde that we provide in the vehicle.

The security deposit is essential during the rental period, playing a comprehensive role in various situations.

It aims to cover repair costs for damages that do not reach the insurance deductible value, including damages not covered by insurance warranties.

Additionally, the security deposit is used for expenses related to fuel shortages, exceeding the mileage limit, lack of cleanliness, delays, failure to comply with established rules, or any other penalties specified in the rental agreement.

When it is confirmed that there are no outstanding costs associated with the rental, the security deposit will be fully refunded, otherwise, it will be returned with the deduction of these amounts.

The delivery or blocking of the security deposit, occurs before the start of the rental. It can be made in cash at the time of vehicle pickup or by bank transfer, with the condition that the amount is confirmed to be deposited in the account before vehicle pickup.

The deposit is retained a few days after checkout until the costs associated with the rental are confirmed, such as payment of circulation taxes, tolls (SCUTs) and Via Verde.

In the event of damage, the deposit will be retained until the associated costs are determined.

We advise that costs related to exceeding the mileage package, lack of cleaning or lack of fuel are paid upon delivery of the vehicle to avoid delays in returning the deposit amount.

Therefore, when it is confirmed that there are no outstanding costs associated with the rental, the deposit will be returned in full, otherwise it will be returned with the deduction of these amounts.
